Title: No Wolves Around Here
Fandom: Ender's Game; Alai.
Rating: PG, for bad sci-fi worldbuilding (Orson Scott Card's fault) and a second-hand knowledge of Ramadan (mine.) Also some swearing. No warnings.
Notes: Song title stolen from the Mountain Goats. Eid mubarak!

Title: I'm Going, You Can Come
Fandom: My Beautiful Laundrette
Rating: Teen (Language and Themes)
Notes: This is not an Eid themed story, but it is offered in loving memory of the stories told by my mother about her wonderful host family and the kindness they showed her during her first Eid with them when she was so homesick.

Notes: Some of these icons are from the production material, including sketches and a very early design for Aladdin. Most of the stills came from Aladdin Central. If there's any icon you want textless that I don't already provide, I can see if I still have a copy with layers and take it out if so. Eid Mubarak!

Title: To your health and your happiness
Prompt: Guilt
Fandom: Temeraire
Rating: General audiences
Characters: Sara Maden and Mihrişah Sultan
Notes: For [info]daysofawesome and [info]eid_fic
Warning: Seriously, everything I know about Mihrişah Sultan, the Ottoman sultanate, and Ottoman sadaqa I know from about 45 minutes of browsing the web in a rush before it's time for services, and I realize this ficlet reads like "look at all the research I did!". If everything here is not wrong, I will be flabbergasted; half the material I read contradicted the other half. But the more I read about her the more impressed I was. She took charge of educational reform, founded a medical school, built soup kitchens, and developed a diplomatic corps. Not at all the exotic seraglio maiden that Laurence's men hoped to spy upon, eh?
Warning 2: Warning, this is way too sappy. But there is no time. Pretend its sticky sweetness is like honey for your apples. Also these warnings are now longer than the story.

To your health and your happiness

Title: Five times Lawrence betrayed his family
Fandom: House, M.D.
Rating: general audience
For: [livejournal.com profile] daysofawesome and [livejournal.com profile] eid_fic / [info - community] eid_ka_chand
Prompt: Betrayal
Note: Despite Fox's weird 'obituary', canon is too inconsistent to preclude Kutner (born Lawrence Choudray) having been raised Muslim. I'm sorry, that's two consecutive stories without canonically Muslim characters.

I made a wee number of icons of Little Mosque on The Prairie and Ardeth Bay from The Mummy movies and thought someone else might want them too. Eid Mubarak!
